Accessibility features on this website
The following features improve navigation for text only browsers, screen reader users, and users of keyboard navigation.
Style Sheets
This site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual layout. If your browser supports it, style sheets can be disabled or over-ridden to customise the appearance of the website, to your preference.
Access keys
An Access key is a keyboard shortcut that replaces the need to use a mouse for navigation. In Internet Explorer versions 5 and above, hold down ALT + the access key then release both keys and press ENTER. In most other Windows browsers you can press ALT + an access key; and Macintosh users can press Control + an access key.
The following Access keys are enabled throughout the website:
0 : Jump to Accessibility Statement page (this page)
1 : Jump to Home
2 : Jump to Conveyancing
3 : Jump to Estate Agency
4 : Jump to Commercial Law
5 : Jump to Personal Law
6 : Jump to Tax Planning and Wills
7 : Jump to Elderly Services
8 : Jump to Litigation
9 : Jump to Ask A Lawyer
These Access keys are based on UK Government guidelines. We have attempted to avoid conflicts with commonly used operating system shortcuts.
Forms
Labels are used to assist access to form fields. All forms follow a logical tab sequence.
Flash is used on the site to enhance the experience of the user, an effort will be made to make sure that if a user does not have the correct plug-in for Flash elements that it does not detract from the user accessing the core content of the website.
Browsers
This website is built to XHTML 1.1 and CSS 1.0 / 2.0 standards.
